Dalibor Ratković participated in and run projects in the field of implementation of all types of telecommunication networks, maintenance and servicing various hardware and software systems. He has extensive experience in advanced IT services, especially in the field of Information Security. Dalibor is specialized in advanced business information systems, but primarily in providing security and high reliability of user’s applications. Dalibor has numerous certificates in the IT security domain: CCNA, CCDA, CCAI, BSCI, CQS, TrendMicro Security Professional, CICSP, etc.
An accomplished expert in Crisis Management and International Policies for which she holds a Master’s degree from La Sapienza University in Rome. Throughout her career, Ivana had achieved admirable results in the Government sector where she served as a Chief of Staff to the Cabinet of the Minister for European Integration as well as a Media Advisor within the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit under the auspices of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet. Before government work, she worked for the Lifeline New York Humanitarian Organization founded by HRH Crown Princess Katherine to provide critically needed humanitarian aid to the neediest people of Serbia. Since transferring to the IT sector she has been engaged in the work of Teamenergo as a marketing director and Communication and Government Affairs in the TeleGroup system.
As a moderator and organizer of Infosec, she will be leading us through a conversation with experts from Academia, Government, and Diplomatic corps finding the connection with Cybersecurity in these unprecedented times.
Marta Arsovska Tomovska is the Director of the Public Administration Reform team in the Office of the Prime Minister of Serbia. Previously, she was Macedonian Minister for ICT and Public Administration, and a C-level executive in several companies in the IT and telecommunication industry. She is considered to be one of the pioneers of internet access in the Western Balkans, leading one of the first Internet Service Providers and several cybersecurity initiatives. Marta is an Executive Board Member of the UN framework organization World Summit Awards and is also serving other boards. Certified by the UN’s ITU for building national digital innovation ecosystems, she is now advising governments, organizations, and corporations on digital transformation and innovation. BSc. in Electrical Engineering, MSc. in Economy and Computer Science, educated at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Marta is a frequent panelist and speaker on the most prestigious ICT conferences worldwide on topics such as digital transformation, innovation, and eGovernment.
Research Professor at the Astronomical Observatory of Belgrade (Serbia) and a Research Associate of the Future of Humanity Institute at Oxford University (United Kingdom). He is a member of the Belgrade based Center for the Study of Bioethics. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (USA), an M.S. in Earth and Space Sciences from the same university, and his B.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Belgrade. His primary research interests are in the fields of astrobiology (Galactic habitable zone, SETI studies, catastrophic episodes in the history of life), risk analysis (global catastrophes, observation selection effects, an epistemology of risk), and philosophy of science (anthropic principles, philosophy of physics, future studies). He co-edited the anthology on Global Catastrophic Risks (Oxford University Press, 2008), which was reviewed favorably in the most distinguished research journals, including Science and Nature; wrote three monographs (the latest being The Astrobiological Landscape, Cambridge University Press, 2012); and authored about 200 research and professional papers, in addition to translating several books, including titles by Richard P. Feynman and Sir Roger Penrose.
Vladimir Ajzenhamer is an Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Security Studies and a lecturer at the master program Migration Studies at the same University. He completed his undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, and holds a Ph.D. in International Relations. He attended academic and professional programs at the Yad Vashem International School for Holocaust Studies in Jerusalem, and the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. His areas of interest include International Relations, Strategic Studies, Geopolitics, and Middle East Studies, while his research focuses on the West’s attitude towards the Islamic world, the influence of ideological and identity factors on foreign policy, classical and critical geopolitical theory, political and military strategies, strategic culture, as well as the role of various discursive forms in the creation of international politics. He is the author of numerous scientific papers and co-author of the book Geopolitical perspectives of the modern world.
Dino Novak is a Territory Account Manager for Adriatic Region at F5 Networks. He was born in Split in February 1974, in 1996 he graduated Management and IT magna cum-laude at University in Zagreb. He also holds a magna cum-laude MBA degree at Cotrugli Business School from 2009. He had rich technical and management experience working for large local and worldwide known IT companies and building IT distribution channels in the Adriatic region for the past 18 years. His specializations and areas of expertise are networking and security. At F5 Networks he is responsible for the development and performance of the sales channel and partner enablement in the Adriatic region.
Dmitri Belotchkine, Trend Micro is Certified Information Systems Security Professional with more than 20 years of IT Security experience. Dmitri joined Trend Micro Europe Solution Architecture team in 2015. The area of expertise of Dmitri is in the cyber security and threat management, ICS/SCADA, IT Security Governance, Data Protection and Security Operations. Prior to Trend Micro Dmitri lead Enterprise Security Solutions practice of Wipro in Benelux. Before Wipro Dmitri spent 12 years with Atos in different roles from a Security Engineer to a Security Manager. The highlight of Dmitri’s carrier was role a Games IT Security Manager for Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Davor Perat is in charge of pre-sales activities for Broadcom, working in the position of Senior Technology Consultant. He is part of a highly successful regional sales team, covering multiple countries in the SEE region. He started working in IT as a Systems Engineer, back in 2000, with a focus on IT infrastructure technologies. Started to specialize in IT security back in 2002. Gained his first experience with various Symantec solutions back in 2002, continuing to expand until the present day. He has been working for Symantec since 2012. Job role includes presentations, demos, and proof of concepts. He is covering the entire Symantec portfolio, including all threat protection, network protection, and information protection solutions.
Krešimir is a Presales Engineer at Veracomp Adriatic, working with products and technologies in the information security field. Responsible for presenting the solutions from Veracomp’s portfolio, proof of concept installations, product demonstrations, educating, and enabling partners. Within Broadcom’s portfolio, previously Symantec and Blue Coat, has worked with technologies ranging from web and network security, endpoint protection, data loss prevention and cloud security. Veracomp is one of the largest IT distributors in the CEE region, and as a value-added distributor (VAD), offers a wide range of services, including advanced logistics, business, technical, and marketing support.
Being an expert in the areas of business development, telecommunications, solution selling, sales, and key account management, Predrag Spasić has been working for almost three years as a Major Account Manager for Adriatic at Check Point Software Technologies. Before that, he has been working as an Executive Director at Prointer and as Software Channel Sales Representative for Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Albania at IBM. He completed bachelor studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade.
Currently, as CEO of Signet World, a privately‐held, business transformation, and growth company where he spearheads major strategic transformation initiatives and their integration for clients on the global market.
Previously, as CEO and General Manager for Trizma Smart Sourcing, Marko led the company’s U.S, European and international business development efforts while at the same time transforming the company’s added value services, implementing process improvement initiatives, and creating effective product development systems.
Earlier in his career, Marko rose through the ranks of two international NGOs: the Atlantic Treaty Association as its youth Executive Vice-President and as Vice-President of the Atlantic Association of Young Political Leaders. He launched his career at the Atlantic Council of Serbia where he served as Executive Director.
Marko is a Harvard Business School graduate where he completed the OPM executive management program as 52nd Generation. He holds a Master’s degree in International Business (MIB) from Grenoble Ecole de Management and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Belgrade.
Goran Samuel Pesic has over 30 years of experience in business, political, defense, and security matters. He is President and CEO of the Samuel Group of Companies, which includes Samuel Associates, Inc. – a nonpartisan strategy, lobbying and marketing firm – and Samuel Technologies, Inc., a validation and verification of technology solutions, products and software company. Both organizations focus on helping companies in new and emerging high-tech industries position themselves for strategic growth and success in the Canadian marketplace.
Before founding the Samuel Group, Goran was a senior executive with the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), a Government of Canada agency mandated to facilitate international trade on behalf of Canada’s defense, aerospace and infrastructure industries. Goran is a U.S. National Security Fulbright Scholar from the University of California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Toronto.
Anne C. Bader is a nongovernmental executive and consultant based in Washington DC. Her particular emphasis is on creating multinational, multi-stakeholder networks in peace, security, human rights and governance for clients in governments, business and education.
A citizen of Canada and the United States, she is Principal of Bader Resources, LLC, an international consultancy in public affairs. In 2012, she founded the International Cybersecurity Dialogue to promote dialogue between policymakers and security technologists. She serves as a Senior Associate Fellow, the Institute of Statecraft, London, an Associate Expert, Security and Defence Research Team, Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) Paris.
Her memberships include the National Press Club, Women in International Security, The Think Tank, Cyber Security Summit and the Board of the Hungarian American Coalition.
Mrs. Bader is a graduate of Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School and Trinity University, Washington DC. She received a NATO award for creating their TRUST strategic communications campaign for demilitarization and defense reform in the Former Soviet Union and was named an Honorary Citizen of Hungary for her capacity building and NATO membership work.
Brian Macdonald is a bilingual senior political and corporate affairs executive with a government, defense, and security background. Throughout Brian’s career, he has served in various leadership roles in the private and public sectors.
Prior to joining Samuel Associates as a Senior Political Associate, Brian was an executive at Scotiabank in Toronto, where he served as the Director of Crisis Management. As part of a small elite team working with Scotiabank’s Operations, IT and Security divisions, he was responsible for enhancing the bank’s daily operational readiness and, when required, for acting quickly and efficiently in a crisis.
Before his career in the financial sector, Brian served in an elected capacity for two terms as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick (MLA), representing Fredericton-Silverwood in 2010 and Fredericton West-Hanwell in 2014. Previous to holding elected office, Brian was a Senior Political Advisor to the Minister of National Defence in Ottawa.
Brian received his B.A. Honours from the Royal Military College of Canada. During his undergraduate studies, he also participated in an exchange program to the Australian Defence Force Academy, where he lived and studied in Canberra, Australia. In pursuit of higher education, Brian is a Mackenzie King Travelling Scholar, who received his Master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
The Honorable Jamie Baillie has a proven track record of leadership in business, politics and government. Jamie is a Senior Associate with Samuel Associates where he provides trustworthy advice on business strategy, political lobbying and marketing-to-government advice. He also serves as Executive Chair of Fundmetric Inc., a company specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology located in Halifax that helps charitable foundations raise funds throughout North America. Additionally, Jamie is a Special Advisor to XFO Private Asset Solutions Inc., a private equity fund of funds located in Toronto, Canada.
Before joining Samuel Associates, Jamie dutifully served the people of Nova Scotia as Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party and as the Provincial Leader of the Official Opposition. During his eight-year term in elected office, he advocated and fought for political accountability and improved economic opportunities for Nova Scotians.
Before taking on a leadership role in politics, Jamie served as the President and CEO of Credit Union Atlantic. In this role, Jamie restored and transformed the member-based financial institution to record profitability, long-term growth and sustainability.
As a graduate of Dalhousie University, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree and went on to achieve his designation as a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA). Jamie also completed the Canadian Securities Course. As a believer in ongoing education, he received Certificates in Entertainment Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Executive Management Program at the University of Chicago. He also completed a senior executive leadership program at Harvard Business School.
