He began his career as an intern at IBM while finishing his Bachelor’s degree in IT management at the
faculty for mathematics and computer science of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.

After returning to Serbia he continued building a career in the local IT industry, which provided him with ample experience in sales of IT services and solutions.

Aleksandar is the recipient of the Young Leader in Change award for his contribution to the development of young talent, given out by the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia as a part of its AmChamps program. He promotes the development of the regional IT industry and especially the tech start-up ecosystem through active collaboration with organizations Digital Serbia Initiative, Startit, and ICT Hub in Serbia.

Omree is a Cyber Threat Intelligence analyst and a product specialist at Cognyte.

He is also a researcher at the Blavatnik Inter-Disciplinary Cyber Researcher Center (ICRC), a senior
researcher at the Yuval Ne’eman Workshop for Science, Technology and Security in Tel Aviv University
and a lecturer on various cyber security related topics.

His research fields include national cyber strategies, ransomware and counter-ransomware strategies,
influence operations and cyber threats on elections, cyber threats on space systems and the role of AI in cyber security.

Omree is a graduate of the CISO&DPO (Data Protection Officer) program at Bar Ilan University and holds several internationally recognized certifications, such as ISACA&’s CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and the Cloud Security Alliance’s CCSK (Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge).

Aleksandar Obradović

For past 20 years covers various technical roles in telco, entertainment, hospitality and marketing
industries. Experienced with both analog and digital electronics, PLC controls, industrial automation
solutions, technical/physical security solutions, cyber security, networking regardless of transmission
medium, operating systems and modern cloud solutions. Self-taught developer/devops.

Past-time activities include hacking everything that can be hacked including human brains, IoT, access control, computer networks, operating systems (including applications) and cloud solutions.

Dragan Novaković

Security Solutions Engineer, Cisco

With over 25 years in IT, prior to joining Cisco, Dragan spent 10 years working at the Academic Network of Serbia/Yugoslavia as a network administrator. He has been with Cisco since 2007, initially as a Systems Engineer, and since 2014, he has been part of the Systems Engineering team for Security, responsible for Southeast Europe (the Balkans).

Miloš Kostić

Project Manager and Business Developer, TECNALIA Research & Innovation

Dr. Miloš Kostić received his undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, specialising in neurorehabilitation technologies and rehabilitation robotics. In 2014, he joined the Health Department of Tecnalia Research and Innovation in Spain, where he led several neurorehabilitation technology projects, focusing on hybrid robotic-FES systems and integrating co-development and early user involvement in medical device R&D. In 2017, he transferred to Tecnalia Serbia as a senior researcher, continuing his work on hybrid clinical systems based on electrical stimulation. Dr. Kostić has coordinated numerous successful H2020 and HEU proposals, including the 6SAVA project, and actively works to raise innovation capacity in the regional ecosystem. His current focus is on development of health monitoring systems and technologies that increase worker safety within the Industry 4.0 framework.

Branko Primetica

Partner at Cedars International

In his current role, Branko focuses primarily on operations, business development, and client service delivery for his growing company. Since his move to Belgrade, Branko leveraged his experience to write recommendations for a centralized national cybersecurity program and to support drafting amendments to the National Information Security Law. In addition, he serves as Regional Director for USAID’s Cybersecurity Protection and Recovery Program, which encompasses critical infrastructure and civilian ministry cybersecurity. He is also working on the Action Plan for Serbia’s next AI Strategy. Prior to Cedars, Branko served as President and Chief Strategy Officer of EGT, based in Washington D.C. EGT, a company that he co-founded and built to 400 employees, was an award-winning provider of business transformation, IT, and cybersecurity consulting services for the United States Federal Government.
