Tecnalia Serbia LTD, established in 2008, is a technology acceleration office and regional actor for Fundacion Tecnalia Research & Innovation (TECNALIA) in Southeast Europe. Focused on medical technologies and human-machine interfaces (HMI), the office offers consulting, R&I services, and technology transfer. With a strong collaboration network of relevant end-user groups, hospitals and rehabilitation clinics, our R&I activities incorporate early user involvement and validation in relevant environment, allowing a streamlined development of technologies that can be efficiently transferred to targeted industries. Tecnalia Serbia has contributed to various TECNALIA projects for development of novel biomedical system for monitoring, point of care diagnostics, electro-therapy, as well as new HMI concepts that provide advanced haptic and tactile feedback to the users. The office participates in all research stages, from project proposal to clinical testing and data analysis. Since 2018 Tecnalia Serbia is competing for public funding and has gained ten research grants within the H2020/HEU framework. In all of these projects Tecnalia Serbia leads the RnD efforts in our domains of expertise. We are also coordinators of a EU funded Coordination and Support Action, 6SAVA, which aims to increase the innovation capacity in the region. The success of the office and the performed research during previous 15 years is also shown by the number of patents and scientific publications, coming from small but highly proficient team. Tecnalia Serbia LTD has active research collaboration with three top Serbian Universities and a number of innovative companies. Personnel of Tecnalia Serbia LTD comprises four PhDs in Electrical Engineering and a between 6 and 8 PhD students.
The Association of Security Managers of Montenegro, as a representative professional organization of legal entities and individuals engaged in security activities in the public and private sectors within Montenegro, aims to elevate the security culture to a higher level through the exchange of experiences and the application of best practices in daily operations. The goals of the Association of Security Managers of Montenegro include, among others: – Development and improvement of corporate security and security risk management, – Providing professional assistance to companies and state institutions in the areas of critical infrastructure, protection of persons and property, protection and rescue, fire protection, and Cyber security – Integration of science and practice in the field of corporate security and elevating the security culture to a higher level.
6SAVA, or “6thSense Asset Valorisation Action”, is a strategic coordination support action aimed at propelling the mature outcomes of the H2020 project SIXTHSENSE to a wider market. SIXTHSENSE developed an innovative system for monitoring vital parameters of first responders in extreme environments, reaching TRL5. 6SAVA focuses on a streamlined version of SIXTHSENSE to drive the commercialization of mature assets in Republic of Serbia (RS), Croatia (HR), and Bosnia and Herzegovi, leveraging national and regional funding. This initiative empowers core SIXTHSENSE partners to capitalize on their results in the regional context. The project harnesses two distinct assets: 1) An Industry 4.0 Health Monitoring Device ensures employee safety in physically demanding manufacturing jobs, starting from cement, petrochemical, and paper industries. 2) Comprehensive IT Solution for Firefighter Operational Management, with potential for generalisation and application across the civil protection sector. The primary objective of 6SAVA is to align technology specifications with the national smart specialization strategies (S3) and needs of local industrial actors. It will result in crafting high-quality applications for national/regional funding to support advancing these technologies toward market readiness, and enhancing technology uptake within the targeted regions
